Dr Seyi is an anointed preacher of God’s Word. His ministry is apostolic in reach and prophetic in expression, raising believers who live by revelation and walk in divine purpose. Pastor Mopelola serves alongside her husband with grace, strength, and deep spiritual insight. She is a pastor and builder of people, committed to seeing Christ formed in believers and the glory of God revealed in His church. Her ministry reflects compassion, wisdom, and a strong commitment to nurturing spiritual growth within families, women, and the wider church community. They reside in Melbourne, Australia, with their family, faithfully stewarding God’s call to build a church with city-wide and national impact.

Abiding and running with the prophetic word is Elder Wale's daily endeavour. He was born and educated in Nigeria and moved to Australia over 25 years ago. He has been married to his amazing wife of over 12 years, Grace, and they have been blessed with two children. Elder Wale has served faithfully in different capacities at The City of Refuge over the years he has many testimonies to share about God's goodness to him. Just get him talking!

Elder
Ibukun is humbled and honoured to serve as one of the Pastors at The City of Refuge Melbourne. She has a burning passion to see the Church of Christ grow into spiritual maturity and walk in the freedom Jesus paid for on the Cross.
Teaching the little ones is one of Pastor Ibukun’s favourite things. Little wonder she also serves as one of the Children’s Church Educators. Here, TCR’s children are taught to know the written Word of God which leads them to encounter the Living Word. She also teaches them through creative illustrations, praise and worship, bible games, and lessons to apply the Word of God to defend their minds against Satan’s darts.
Married to the amazing Atilola Idowu since 2018, God has blessed them with two wonderful boys.
Ibukun’s life scripture is Ephesians 3:20. “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us”.

Kunle Onasanya migrated to Australia about 20 years ago after some years in the West Indies where he started his medical career.
By divine arrangements, he became part of The City of Refuge, Melbourne in 2018 after having visited the church 6 years earlier for the 1st time.
He is privileged to serve in the leadership team of the church as a pastor.
In obedience to the divine mandate to "Go", he is a practicing surgeon here in Melbourne and he is actively involved in moulding the next generation of medical practitioners.
He is happily married to his beloved wife, Linn and their union is blessed with children.
